The Montenegrin Olympic Committee will host the 44th European Olympic Committees (EOC) Seminar in October next year. This news was announced at the closing of the 43rd edition of the seminar. Igor Vusurović, the Secretary General of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee and a gold medallist for Yugoslavia at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, expressed gratitude to EOC President Spyros Capralos, EOC Secretary General Raffaele Pagnozzi, and the members of the EOC Executive Committee for the opportunity given to Montenegro to organize such an important event. The 43rd edition of the EOC Seminar was held in Paris on May 12th and 13th, ahead of the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad in 2024. National Olympic Committees (NOCs) from Europe attended the meetings, which covered various important topics in the Olympic movement. Raffaele Pagnozzi, the EOC Secretary General, stated that the EOC Seminar is "always an important event in the calendar and an opportunity for all European NOCs to gather and discuss the future of not only the Olympic movement but also sports as a whole on our continent". During the first day of the seminar, representatives from 48 European NOCs voted for the winner of the Piotr Nurowski Prize for Winter Sports. The award was presented to Nela Lopušanova from Slovakia at the Gala Dinner held at the "Pavilion Royal." Representatives from the Montenegrin Olympic Committee also met with the President of the French Olympic Committee, Brigitte Henriques, to discuss further collaboration within the framework of the agreement signed between the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, along with the Olympic Committees of Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia, and the French Olympic Committee.
