The holiday season is a time for giving, sharing, and spreading joy. Therefore, Jugopetrol AD, EKO petrol stations, and the Montenegrin Olympic Committee joined forces this year to brighten the days of the youngest patients at the Institute for Children's Diseases. Representatives from these organizations, along with Montenegrin athletes Ivona Pavićević and Anđela Berišaj, visited the Institute today to bring gifts and best wishes to the children spending their holidays receiving treatment. This wonderful tradition, initiated by Jugopetrol, has been a source of joy for the little ones at the Institute for years. These gifts were carefully selected to bring smiles to the faces of the young patients and included toys, games, and drawing supplies. During this visit, Katarina Bulatović, Sports Director of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, said that the Montenegrin Olympic Committee is honored to be a part of this beautiful tradition. "Sport teaches us solidarity, friendship, and perseverance, and we believe in spreading these values beyond the sports arena. Bringing joy to these children during the holidays is a small way to give back to our community and spread a sense of togetherness." Sara Ivanović Božović, Marketing Manager of Jugopetrol, emphasized: "The tradition continues. This year, we are delighted to have expanded our support to the youngest members of our community in collaboration with the Montenegrin Olympic Committee. Community support is deeply rooted in our company's heart, and this year's teamwork has further motivated us to create positive memories in the lives of those who need it most. We believe that, at least for a moment, we have brought smiles to the faces of these little heroes." The Director of the Institute for Children's Diseases, Dr. Velibor Majić, thanked Jugopetrol, the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, and Montenegrin athletes for this gesture and the time they dedicated to "brighten up these pre-New Year days for our little patients who have to stay at the Institute during the holidays due to circumstances beyond their control. I hope their stay in our institution will be more bearable and we will have a positive healing effect. Thanks to our caring friends and carefully selected gifts, they will remember this for something beautiful, not just for their illness." This event was about giving gifts and spreading love, hope, and the message that the community cares about these young fighters. It was a reminder that joy can still be found even amid challenges, and the spirit of giving can wonderfully connect people.
