The meeting was held from February 21st to February 23rd, 2024, at the premises of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the Erasmus+ project "Building Women's Capacities in Leadership and Decision-Making Processes in Sports in the Western Balkans" (Women4Sport), funded by the European Union. The "Women4Sport" Erasmus+ project is of exceptional importance as it encourages and promotes gender equality in the spheres of top management and leadership positions of Olympic committees in the countries of the Western Balkans. The coordinator of this two-year project is the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with project partners Verlab Institut, the Olympic Committee of Albania, the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, the Croatian Olympic Committee, the Olympic Committee of Slovenia, and the non-governmental organization "BRAVO" BiH. Today marks the official start of the journey of changes that are important priorities, both for the European Union and for leadership that promotes women's rights in sports. Project partners presented their work packages, and the next steps of project implementation were agreed upon, which will last for the next 24 months. The importance of the project was presented through an interactive workshop involving seven project partners.
