The President of Montenegro, Mr. Jakov Milatovic, met yesterday with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Sports and Youth in the Government of Montenegro, Mr. Dragoslav Šćekić, the representatives of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee (MOC), led by the President of the MOC, Mr. Dušan Simonović, and representatives of eight national sports federations. At a working breakfast at the residence in Cetinje, organized in anticipation of the Olympic Games in Paris, the President congratulated those who have already secured participation in the most prestigious sports competition and expressed a wish for them to be part of a larger Montenegrin delegation this summer. Participants of the meeting agreed that it is necessary to develop existing infrastructure for elite sports and improve and build new sports facilities in the country. The President of Montenegro praised the idea of building an Olympic House, Olympic Museum, and Olympic Park in Podgorica, emphasizing that all key addresses in the state should recognize the final value of these projects. In addition to the President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, the working breakfast was attended by Ms. Bojana Popović, Vice President, Mr. Igor Vušurović, Secretary General, Ms. Maja Peković, Deputy Secretary General, and Ms. Katarina Bulatović, Sports Director.
