The Montenegrin Old capital Cetinje, on April 29th, will be the first of five cities to host the "Olympic Caravan." This traditional event, announcing the commencement of the Olympic Games, will begin on Monday at 11 AM at Main square. The “Olympic Caravan” is not just about spreading the Olympic spirit and movement. It's a unique opportunity to introduce our children to the core values of sports and Olympism. This educational aspect of the event is particularly important as it serves as a precursor to the largest multi-sport event in the Olympic cycle - the Olympic Games in Paris this summer. In organizing the perfect atmosphere during the "Olympic Caravan," the Montenegrin Olympic Committee (MOC) will be supported by the Old Capital Cetinje, as well as sponsors and friends of the Olympic team: Sport Vision, One company, Jugopetrol - Eko gas stations, Lovćen insurance, and Erste Bank. Together, we will prepare various activities, competitions in multiple sports skills and knowledge, and many valuable prizes for the youngest visitors. Your presence and support will help ignite the fan and sports spirit for everything coming this summer and adequately support our heroes in Paris. In addition to promoting the Games, during the "Olympic Caravan," we will reflect on the history of our athletes' participation in major multisport events and introduce the participants of the 33rd Summer Olympics, for which sailor Milivoj Dukić and the Montenegrin water polo team have already secured their spots. During this exciting event, the youngest visitors will have the unique opportunity to meet sports legends and today's stars, as well as new hopes and potential Olympians. These inspiring figures will share their experiences, present themselves in the best light, and most importantly, impart valuable lessons about the importance of sports and the values they embody. This year's "Olympic Caravan" will be marked by a new sports league, successors of great names, who will inspire our youngest and older fans alike to be better and stronger and bring joy to the entire country through their extraordinary results and unity. Indeed, this event is a significant part of Montenegrin history and a source of pride for our nation. This city, with its rich sports heritage and numerous sports heroes, will be the birthplace of the new energy of the Montenegrin Olympic team, a team that will continue to make history and inspire generations to come! The "Olympic Caravan" will visit five cities - after Cetinje, the story about Paris continues in Bar, Herceg Novi, Podgorica, and Kolašin.
