Assembly of Montenegrin Olympic Committee on its session held on 23. November, has elected Dušan Simonović for its President with great majority of votes.
Out of 55 delegates, 52 voted for Simonović, one abstained and two ballots were invalid.
Simonović’s opponent, Dragomir Bečanović, withdrew his candidature during the session.
Assembly elected 14 members of the new Executive Board, which will have 17 instead of 25 members.
In the future mandate, Vice Presidents of the EC will also be Zorica Kovačević and Andrija Popović, and members are Krsto Bošković, Igor Vušurović, Miodrag Ivanović, Ranko Jovović, Džemal Ljušković, Boro Mračević, Vanja Mugoša, Mladen Rabrenović, Dimitrije Rašović, Božidar Vuksanović and Vesna Medenica.
Other members will be elected afterwards.
At the session was also elected Supervisory Board, whose members are Dejan Bajić, Dragan Marović and Danilo Vuksanović.
Assembly of the MOC has unanimously adopted Report on the work with overview of financial balance and the Report from Beijing Olympic Games 2008.
