Based on Art. 46, 52 and 87 of the Statute of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee (Refined text, No: 02-59/2-1 dated 07.10.2019), the Management Board of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, at the electronic session of 24.02.2022. year, he brought a

D E C I S I O N

on the establishment of the Sports Commission of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee

1. In the Montenegrin Olympic Committee (hereinafter: COK), in accordance with the recommendation of the IOC Reform Commission that “athletes should be well represented at all levels of the sports movement: IOC, IF, NOC and NF” and the Basic Universal Principles of good management of the Olympic and sports movement, with regard to rules 2.7 and 28.1.3 of the Olympic Charter, a Sports Commission (hereinafter: the Commission) is established.

2. The following are appointed to the commission from point 1 of this decision:
1. Drasko Brguljan (water polo)
2. Milivoj Dukić (sailing)
3. Filip Radović (doubles table tennis)
4. Marija Vuković (athletics)
5. Danka Kovinić (tennis)
6. Majda Mehmedović (handball)
7. Bojan Kosić (skiing)

3. The task of the Commission is to represent the views of athletes, and in particular:
* discusses issues concerning athletes and gives recommendations and advice to the COK in relation to these issues;
* actively engages in initiatives and projects that protect and support clean athletes, both on and off the sports field;
* represents the rights and interests of athletes and makes certain recommendations in this sense and
* maintains contacts with the Sports Commissions of the IOC and EOK.

4. The mandate of the Commission lasts four years.

5. COK can by a special decision appoint additional members of the Commission, if it is necessary to maintain a fair balance in the Commission in terms of gender or sport.

6. The Commission in the COC Assembly is represented by two members, one of whom must be an athlete who participated in at least one of the last three editions of the Olympic Games, each with the right to vote.

7. The Commission is represented by one member in the Management Board of COK.
