“Sharks” are ninth in the Olympic tournament

The water polo national team of Montenegro defeated Romania 10:7 in the last round of the A group of the Olympic tournament.

In the end, the “Sharks” took ninth place with five points, after their first victory in Paris. The chosen ones of the coach Vladimir Gojković were left without a chance for the quarter-finals earlier.

They lost to Italy and Greece after a poor performance of five-a-side matches, and were defeated by Croatia and the United States of America.

The Montenegrin selection was led to victory over Romania by Marko Mršić with three and Stefan Vidović with two, while Jovan Vujović, Đuro Radović, Bogdan Đurđić, Vasilije Radović and Vlado Popadić each scored a goal.
