Yesterday, the ambassador of the Republic of Austria in Montenegro, Kristijan Steiner, visited the Montenegrin Olympic Committee and spoke with the president of the Olympic Committee, Dušan Simonović.
President Simonović introduced the ambassador to the work of COK and its activities, highlighting the successful cooperation between Montenegro and Austria in the field of sports.
Both sides expressed readiness for further development and improvement of relations in all fields. Special emphasis was placed on the possibility of organizing and promoting joint activities, including projects of COK and the Embassy of Austria in Podgorica, which would further contribute to the strengthening of mutual ties.
In this context, Ambassador Steiner used the opportunity to inform President Simonović about the holding of a diplomatic ski race organized by the Austrian Embassy in Podgorica, the Ski Association of Montenegro and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tirana, which will be held on March 15 of the following year at Ski Center 1450 in Kolašin.
The Montenegrin Olympic Committee and the Embassy of Austria remain committed to joint efforts in promoting sports and cooperation between the two countries.
