ExerSafe Presented to Sports Organisations During Olympic Day

As part of the Olympic Day celebrations, the Erasmus+ ExerSafe project was presented, highlighting its mission to create a safer, more inclusive and gender-sensitive environment for girls and women in sport and physical activity.

Representatives of national sports federations, sports clubs, institutions and other stakeholders were introduced to the project’s objectives, as well as its free online training course designed for coaches, sports organisations, fitness centres and other sports professionals. The course provides practical guidance on preventing harassment, promoting gender equality and creating safe sporting environments for women.

The ExerSafe project is implemented through a partnership between NOC MontenegroSport et Citoyenneté (France), Sport Innovation Hub (Spain) and Healthy Life CF (Montenegro). During their visit to Podgorica, the project partners also held a working meeting to agree on the next stages of implementation, including preparations for the pilot phase in sports clubs and fitness centres across Montenegro, further development of the online course and the creation of a methodology for applying standards for safe and inclusive sporting environments.
