President of NOC Montenegro congratulated Marija Vuković on winning the bronze medal at the European Championships.
“By winning bronze in Birmingham, four years after claiming silver in Munich, Marija Vuković has once again reached the European podium and achieved another major result for Montenegro and Montenegrin sport. On behalf of NOC Montenegro and in my own name, I warmly congratulate her and thank her for continuing, through her results and example, to raise the profile of Montenegrin sport year after year,” Simonović said.
We are proud of our scholarship athlete, who has brought us another European medal. Marija’s medal is a confirmation of dedicated and continuous work, but also an inspiration to young athletes in Montenegro.
