A new sponsorship agreement between the Montenegrin Olympic Committee (NOC) and Sport Vision was signed today in Bijelo Polje, confirming the continuation of a long-standing and highly successful partnership that is now entering its second decade.
Through this agreement, Sport Vision will continue to support Montenegrin athletes as the official sports equipment partner during a period marked by major international competitions and a key phase in preparations for the next Olympic Games.
During 2026, Sport Vision has already provided equipment for the Montenegrin team at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games held in February, and will continue to equip athletes for the Mediterranean Games in Taranto, as well as the Youth Olympic Games in Dakar later this year.
The agreement also covers support for participation in the European Youth Olympic Festivals (winter and summer editions), the Games of the Small States of Europe in Monaco, and the European Games in Istanbul—important competitions that also serve as key development and qualification steps on the path to the Olympic level.
The culmination of this Olympic cycle will come in 2028, with participation in the Winter Youth Olympic Games and the world’s largest sporting event—the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
The President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, Dušan Simonović, emphasised the particular value of this partnership for the stability and development of the sports system: “Our cooperation with Sport Vision goes beyond a traditional sponsorship relationship. It is built on trust, continuity and a shared vision for the development of sport in Montenegro. As we enter the second decade of our partnership, we reaffirm our commitment to building lasting relationships that deliver tangible results, above all for our athletes.
We are entering a highly demanding and important cycle, with numerous multi-sport competitions and top-level sporting challenges. In such circumstances, the support of stable and reliable partners such as Sport Vision is invaluable. It enables our athletes to have conditions worthy of Olympic standards and to focus on what matters most – achieving top results and representing Montenegro with pride on the international stage.”
Petar Veličković, Director of Sport Vision, stated that “the signing of this agreement is not merely a business act, but a confirmation that Sport Vision and the Montenegrin Olympic Committee share the same values and belief in the transformative power of sport. Nike, our strategic partner, promotes the idea that anyone with a body is an athlete. Here in Montenegro, we bring that message to life by providing Olympic-level equipment, accessible both to elite athletes and to young people who dream of standing on the world’s biggest stages one day.
Sport Vision is a brand that has grown alongside sport in Montenegro. As we enter the second decade of our partnership with the MOC, this collaboration takes on a new dimension. We are now approaching a cycle that will culminate in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. I believe we will reach it with medals, and that the ‘swoosh’ on our athletes’ jerseys will symbolise the shared effort we have invested here in Montenegro.”
The signing ceremony was symbolically held in Bijelo Polje, the city where the development of the Sport Vision brand in Montenegro began, further highlighting the strong connection between the local community and one of the country’s most important sports partners.
The event brought together a large number of former and current athletes, including Anđela Bulatović, Suad Šehović, Vlado Šćepanović, Savo Đikanović, Martina Knežević, Simona Petranović and Tea Nikčević, as well as members of the NOC Executive Board, sports professionals and representatives of the local authorities.
Through this partnership, the Montenegrin Olympic Committee and Sport Vision jointly reaffirm that supporting athletes—from their first equipment to the Olympic podium—is a shared responsibility and a step towards shared success.
